His entrepreneurial career in banking and finance, which began in 1988 in Silicon Valley, has spanned over three and a half decades, allowing him to develop a deep understanding of the industry’s various facets.

Holding dual citizenship in the European Union and the United States, Powell deftly handles the complexities of international business environments. He is proficient in modeling asset protection measures through proven strategies, ensuring that clients can safeguard their wealth while navigating complex business and legal environments. His comprehensive experience in banking and thorough knowledge of federal and state securities laws, compliance, and negotiations have been instrumental in his work with early-stage startups, foreign direct investment, and the financial structuring of large projects.

Powell holds an MBA, has completed graduate studies in international development at Harvard University, and earned a degree from the Pritzker School of Law. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law and Policy at Northeastern University, with a focus on middle-income workforce housing (MIWH) shortages in rural resort communities. This work aligns with his passion for finding sustainable solutions to critical issues. He regularly shares his insights and knowledge as an international lecturer and is considered a resource for entrepreneurs across various industries.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Powell has a deep commitment to community service. He has been involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for over 45 years in various capacities, including serving on the National Board of Trustees.
